Halloween Feast

Mary was listening to the conversation with mild interest, the Shannon girl did look peaky, but maybe she just wasn't feeling well. The Slytherin snorted with laughter when the younger girl shoved a candy corn in Ravenclaw's mouth. It seemed she just couldn't wait to prank somebody.
Hearing that they were now talking about costumes, Mary kept quiet because she had no idea of what/who she'll go as. She was just praying to Salazar Skyler wouldn't go all the way with her plan, it would be as if she'd go to the Headmistress and begged if they expell her. Well, with much more yelling.
She shook her head and focused on the food because her belly was making hungry noises. Deciding she'll go with lasagna, she took some on her plate and started almost wolfing it down.

Alex, like Mary, had not really joined in on the conversation the other three girls were having. Though she did answer Shannon with a shrug and added, "Thats cool with me man! I mean, like at least you know where you come from!" she said and then turned her full attention to the food.

It was, as was usual for her plate, piled in a small mountain like structure on her plate. But at the pace in which she was going, it did not seem too much. For her at least!
